For patients with certain types of heart defects, custom medical devices offers an alternative both to surgery and other potentially dangerous devices. A physician can implant our devices easily, after proper instruction, through small catheters inserted in the patient’s groin. The patient is able to return home within one day.
The ButtonSeal device has a stainless steel metal frame and is indicated for the occlusion of ASDs and PFOs including perforated atrial aneurysms, PDAs and muscular VSDs.
The Transcatheter Patch is a frameless, bioabsorbable and fast release device with applications in the correction of: Secundum ASDs, Ostium Primum ASDs, Sinus Venosus ASDs, PFOs, Left Atrial Appendage, Perimembranous VSDs, Muscular VSDs, Fallot Tetralogy VSDs.
New applications include: Myocardial and Vascular Plugs and correction of Ventricular aneurysms
